The students had the opportunity to dress up in their colourful and exquisite customary outfits and energy levels were high as the students experienced great singing and dance performances by lecturers and students alike.
The students enjoyed a variety of delicious cuisines as the food was carefully selected to mirror the cultures of the students involved. The Academy decor matched the occasion and the students took many photos in front of our specially designed ‘Global Wall’. The ethnic day also helped accomplish each student's innate desire to dress up in their traditional wear. There was also an award for the Best Dressed Male and Female which ultimately went to Anas-ur-Rehman and Aditi Balaji.
I would like to take the opportunity to appreciate the Social Events Committee and the Academy photographer for the tremendous effort they put into organising such an inclusive event. The event definitely accomplished its purpose of bringing more colour and joy to our student life as we celebrated our students from all over the world.
