Abdullah Aljehani is a Country Manager at SAS - System Engineering in Jeddah, KSA. Abdullah has a track record of successfully designing HR frameworks and strategies for employee relations, recruiting, selection, remuneration and benefits. He specialises in developing his organisation’s human capital potential. He also recently completed the CIPD level 5 qualification.

What motivated you to start your CIPD journey?

My motivation to start the CIPD journey was to stay up-to-date with the new HR knowledge and practises and most importantly, to keep up with Saudi Arabia's rapid developments, particularly in the labour market, which requires new knowledge and skills.

How has the CIPD qualification helped you in your current job?

The CIPD qualification has supported me by providing the current information and approaches in the areas of employee engagement, incentive management, talent management and planning. It also assisted me in assessing, analysing, and comprehending the external aspects that influenced employee and organisational performance.

How did the Academy help you in completing the CIPD programme?

The trainers at PwC’s Academy helped me complete the programme, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Mariam Ghandour, for her tremendous efforts and experience, which made the lessons worthwhile. In addition, the CIPD expertise hub provided me with a wealth of material and knowledge that assisted me in writing my projects.

What's your advice to other professionals in the HR field?

If you wish to advance in your career, refresh your skills and learn more. I wholeheartedly recommend obtaining your CIPD degree. And like myself get the CIPD qualification at PWC’s Academy.
