Dalia Qarawi

Dalia is a Tax Manager and Tax Trainer with 6+ years of experience, specialising in various direct and indirect tax regimes.

Dalia enhanced her clients’ tax performance, both in the UK and in UAE, by implementing effective improvements utilising her analytical capabilities. She specialises in indirect compliance, advisory and due diligence assignments
Dalia has experience in the UAE handling indirect tax including health checks, review of monthly and quarterly returns as well as providing upskilling for clients from different industries on indirect tax and ESR.
Ali Mehdi

Ali is a PwC Director and the head of tax and fiscal policy training at PwC Academy Middle East. He specialises in Taxation, Business Case Development, and Financial Reporting (IFRS). He holds over twelve years of experience in designing and delivering solutions for a variety of organisations.
Ali has been involved in the design and implementation of the UAE Corporate Tax diploma - an FTA approved qualification.
Ali’s training methodology stems from his wide range of experience in the field of finance, taxation, and working in multicultural environments, while dealing with all levels of organisation.
Ali has practically performed functions that included IFRS, Direct and Indirect taxation, internal auditing and corporate finance. This enables him to give further practical and technical insights while delivering his training sessions.
